Author Biography

Marjorie Siegel is Professor of Literacy Education in the Department of Curriculum & Teaching at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she teaches in the Literacy Specialist MA program as well as the doctoral program. Her current research explores the social meanings of young children's multimodal literacies in school settings.
