Abstract

The author incorporates multimodal online inquiry to deepen the thinking of children in his elementary classroom. When he sees how engaged his students are in their work, he realizes that this is a true picture of constructivist learning.

Author Biography

Kai Johnson is an upper elementary teacher. A graduate of Bank Street College of Education and Wesleyan University, he studies how technology deepens student learning through increased collaboration and inquiry. He taught for four years in New York City and currently teaches in Denver, Colorado.
