Abstract
Presents an interdisciplinary curriculum on New York City's Central Park for five and six year olds. Focuses on both natural and man-made environments in the park, and explores the ways in which people and the environment interact. The goal is for children to broaden their view of Central Park from being a backyard playground to that of a community recreation center. Contains lesson plans and activity guides.
