Author Biography
Byron Graves
Byron Graves (they/them) is Ojibwe and was born and raised on the Red Lake
Indian Reservation in Minnesota. Their debut novel, Rez Ball, won the Walter
C. Morris Award, the American Indian Youth Literature Award, and the 2024
Colorado Book Award for best Young Adult novel. When they aren't writing,
they can be found playing video games, skateboarding, or at a concert.
