Jessica Martell is a 4th/5th-grade teacher in East Harlem, New York City. She has over 20 years of experience working with diverse populations in NYC's public schools. She is a 2017 NYC Department of Education's Big Apple Award awardee and a doctoral student at Teachers College, Columbia University.
